Claire Ho is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist with special interests in the area of preventative nutrition and gastrointestinal disorders including Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Claire Ho was trained at one of the leading cancer care hospitals in Australia, Peter MacCallum Centre, in which her involvement allowed her to fully comprehend the importance of proper nutrition in supporting a patient’s treatment journey – and further develop her interest in preventative health.
Claire currently splits her time supporting patients through her nutrition practice, Four Seasons Dietetics and also as a Clinical Dietitian at the Sydney Adventist Hospital. Throughout her career, she has also worked with organisations such as Cancer Council NSW, Nutrition Australia NSW and Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute to raise awareness of healthy eating.
Claire’s philosophy is that optimal health requires a holistic but also a constantly evolving approach. Every person’s nutrition requirements are unique and can vary with genetics, life stage, goals and the environment. Therefore, in addition to using evidence-based knowledge to inform her practice, Claire further incorporates a patient-centred approach to deliver tailored and holistic care plans.
